Eric Hemer
Master Sommelier

Eric Hemer is the Educational Director for Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida. In addition to working with SWS sales personnel around the state, he also teaches classes on wine for restaurant and retail trade personnel, as well as evening classes at Florida International University, University of South Florida and Johnson & Wales University for both students and consumers. Eric is a Member of the Society of Wine Educators (SWE), on the Professional Development and Certification Committee. Holds title of Certified Wine Educator (CWE), highest level of certification offered by the SWE. Received the Court of Master Sommeliers Diploma in March of 2003 and is now one of 72 Americans to hold the title of Master Sommelier (MS). Master of Wine (MW) candidate passed the Practical portion of the exam in June 2005. Check the schedule for Eric's classes
